VXI teams up with My Dream in a Shoebox

Los Angeles, Calif. – VXI Global Solutions, LLC. again partnered with My Dream in a Shoebox Outreach campaign in the Philippines to assist underprivileged children in the Southeast Asian nation. The company handed out shoe boxes and snacks to 350 underprivileged children partnering up with Payatas Orione Foundation (PAOFI) for this specific gift-giving activity, which took place on July 08 in Manila Philippines.

VXI has been a social development partner through the My Dream in a Shoebox campaign since 2015, and has donated over 16,000 school supplies and gift boxes over the last two and a half years. Led by IBPAP and TeamAsia Christmas Outreach Program, the My Dream in a Shoebox campaign aims to help underprivileged children reach for a brighter future through the distribution of shoeboxes filled with school supplies, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.

The latest activity for this outreach campaign was very well received by the community and the Payatas Orione Foundation (PAOFI). Jared Morrison, Executive Vice President and Country Manager of VXI Philippines, stated, “We’re humbled to be able to help these children through the efforts of IBPAP and PAOFI. Our Passion for People philosophy goes beyond the walls of the workplace and extends to the general community we do business in, and we want to show our compassion to those who need it the most. We hope that this initiative will help make a positive impact in developing the future of these children.”

VXI plans to continue working with PAOFI as part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and aims to distribute at least 2,315 more shoeboxes within the next year through this campaign. The company is also partnering up with the Muhabay Deseret Foundation, one of the largest surgical organizations in the Philippines, to support life-changing medical procedures for those in need.
