VXI Launches New Customer Experience Center in Guatemala City

Guatemala City, Guatemala – VXI Global Solutions, LLC. today officially opened a new delivery center in Guatemala City.  The new customer experience center is the company’s 42nd official site, and is centrally located in the area surrounding La Aurora International Airport, one of Central America’s largest, and busiest air transportation hubs.

The opening ceremony was attended by various government dignitaries, including Francisco Sandoval, Vice Minister of Labor Administration, who opened the ceremonial event by sharing his excitement in seeing companies like VXI expanding in Guatemala. He further added that he’s certain that the new site will contribute significantly to the economy and generate jobs for Guatemalans.  Gabriela Negredo, from the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Guatemala also shared a similar sentiment, and highlighted the role of business services and the BPO industry in the Guatemalan economy over the last 10 years.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Ric Powell, Vice President of Operations for the Americas at VXI, who was accompanied by Sandoval, Negredo, and Carlos Taracena, VXI’s new Site Director.  “I am personally very excited about the new site opening in such a rich market.  This inauguration marks a milestone event in VXI’s journey towards offering superior customer experience to a long list of the world’s most important brands”, said Mr. Powell

He further added, “With the opening of this new site, we are aiming to deliver high-value services from a prime near-shore location, utilizing a rich pool of young, educated workforce.”
